Fatness to Fitness Day 3

 

My 6am workout looked a little like this!

 

The Wellness Club UKWell 6am came and went whilst I was blissfully unaware and still snoozing under my duvet. I opened my eyes and wondered why I could hear movement in the house and couldn't believe that it was 7.30am! What happened to the alarm!?

So needless to say, my 6am hiit session did not happen! I blame it on the Neals Yard night time tea I've been drinking at bedtime!

I have had a pretty active working day as well as some admin work but was adamant I was going to fit a session in somewhere. So at 2pm, I removed myself from my desk, turned the music up and did a hiit session on my rug in the living room (oh the joys of freelancing!)..... watched by three very bemused dogs, one of whom tried to join in at one point (thankfully, I was not videoing it!)

DOMs have not been as bad as expected today, so thankful for that but lets see what tomorrow brings.

Todays hiit session:

6 exercises for 45 seconds with a 15 second rest in between, repeat the cycle 4 times.

  1. High knees & shoulder press
  2. Burpees
  3. Plie Squats
  4. Press Ups
  5. Bridges
  6. Mountain Climbers

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs with corn cakes and butter

Lunch: scrambled egg with corn cakes (no butter)

Dinner: Chicken breast, 3 salad potatos baked, sprouts, brocolli and carrots. (love my sprouts!)

Snacks: 2 bananas, 2 clementines and 1 apple.

Fluids: Regular water, herbal tea and down to 4 cups of coffee! :) :)
